• Check timer in transformer to see if it’s plugged in and operating correctly. Also make sure the timer is set correctly.
• Make sure main circuit breaker for outlet that the transformer is plugged into has not tripped to the off position. Reset breaker to on position if it has.
• Make sure the transformer is plugged into the outlet.
• Make sure all common circuit breakers within transformer have not tripped to the off position. They should always be in the on position.
• Check main outlet to make sure it has power.

• Bulbs must be replaced immediately, once they fail, to prevent the remaining bulbs from carrying the extra load. The burden of the extra electrical load will tremendously decrease the life of the remaining bulbs.
• Use only properly specified bulbs for replacement. Replacement bulbs should have the exact same specifications (voltage, wattage, base, etc.) as the bulb it is replacing. Any variation in specifications from bulbs used with the original system install can cause various problems and costly damage with the entire lighting system.

• Harsh outdoor climates and moist conditions can cause dirty and corroded contacts. Remove bulb (spray bulb and socket with electrical silicone spray if desired) and re-install bulb to create a new, clean contact between the bulb base (bi-pins) and the fixture socket.
• Use of varying size bulb bases (bi-pins) can cause socket damage and create a loose bulb contact that will cause the bulb to operate intermittently.
• Make sure bulb base (bi-pins) is pushed all the way into the socket. Bulbs make become loose over time and lose contact with the socket.

• Clean both sides of fixture lenses. Lenses will become dirty and block some of the light.
• Change bulbs if light is still dim after cleaning the lenses. Bulbs continually lose their intensity over time.
• There may be a short or partial cut in a wire run. Conduct wire tests.
• There may be transformer damage. Check for proper operation and output.

• Make sure a common circuit breaker in the transformer did not trip to the off position. Reset breaker if it did. This will happen from time to time and is a normal occurrence.
• Make sure bulbs aren’t burned out.
• There could be a cut wire or compromised wire splice.
